Thats an understatement. I am practically infatuated with this new pattern by the talented and sassy-chic Ms Marnie MacLean.
Just look at it. Isn’t it wonderful? I love the flattering silhouette and the interesting details. The best thing is that it all comes together nicely. Simple, but not boring; Eye-catching, but not flamboyant. Their choice of color (for the pieces [...]

I stood at the balconey with a bowl of food in a box and a camera in my hand. I was hovering over the bowl, eyes fixed on the camera, moving this way and that trying to get the angle right. Then the cleaning lady came up beside me (mom has the cleaning lady come by [...]

The cake passed the taste test! Sis, who hardly ever touch anything I bake, asked for a second slice and gave her approval for the cake. Mom also enjoyed the cake. Sis also gave constructive comment: leave the cinnamon out of the actual cake. So… Yipee~ We have a recipe. I’m thinking of baking another [...]

WARNING: No knitting content
No, I didn’t learn French. I first heard the quote “let them eat cake” in an informative children’s tv program. For those who have never heard of it, it was a famous “quote” from the unfortunate Marie Antoinette. It is a “quote” because it is unknown if she ever said it.
Why all [...]

I didn’t mean to disappear from my knitblog, but there isn’t much to say recently. I haven’t been knitting much and I’ve been preoccupied with life and such. The KZ Hybrid project had seen quite a bit of progress, but I’m thinking about frogging it back as I didn’t decrease enough for the armhole/neckline. The result [...]

I made them while watching Sleepy Hollow a couple of nights ago. I enjoy re-watching movies I like. [...]

This is my birthday present to myself. No, thats just an excuse. I missed Babe so much (he died 2 weeks after I went overseas) I decided to get another dwarf hamster. I wanted to get a white one like Jaded but they didn’t have any at the petshop. So I chose this Sapphire Winter White Dwarf [...]

Please note that I have made some corrections to Versa. The correct version is available on the same page. It is Anky who spotted the mistake. Thanks, Anky! =)
I wanted to write about the current active WIPs but flickr was being a #&% and caused my internet connection to have problems instead. I’m not [...]

Thats right, Monkey in Summer Memories is Finito!
I am pleased with them. They fit nicely and are comfortable, albeit a little too warm for the climate.
I like how the slight pooling created the illusion of stripes. They remind me of apricot jam on toast and blueberry waffles with cream cheese. Mmmm… Yummy!
They are the fastest [...]

Yes, one down, one to go. It is amazing how quickly this sock went. I followed the instructions almost completely. The only change I did was to use 2mm needles. The reason why I chose smaller needles are:
i) Tight-knitted socks can withstand more wear & tear. Not that mine see much use, but I still don’t [...]
