I’m quite happy with it.

The 5th scarf. I’m knitting the Montego Bay Scarf from IK, using this yarn that I plied and dyed last year. Originally, I planned to give this to one of my buddies. But after thinking about it, I decided maybe not. Its not that I want to keep it for myself, but also because I think it might be kinda unfair. I’m giving the other girls scarves like the Diagonal Eyelet and Big, Lacey & Red, so I think its only fair to give the 3rd girl a similar scarf - the pink one shown above. The pink scarf was meant to be gifted to my sis but I decided to knit another Montego Bay scarf for her instead. I think she will appreciate that more, even if she didn’t get the k-drama-inspired pink scarf.
.

This is currently hanging on our door. Sis and I were in quite a mood for decorating this Christmas. (But we don’t plan to do much more than a tree and a wreath)

Its been raining quite abit in Singapore lately. I guess the monsoon is upon us. Read on the newspaper that there had been pretty bad floods in Malaysia. Monsoon seasons makes me thankful for the ridiculously big monsoon drains we have all over Singapore. (you can see a small one in the bottom center of this pic.. Yes, that is considered a small monsoon drain even though its wider than a bus!)
I’m always in the mood for blanket knitting in December, but every year when I am in the mood for that I have to do my christmas knitting. Well, I think next year, I won’t do any christmas knitting. I will, instead, knit a blanket. =D
P.S The Very Modified Sharfik had reached its recipient, who appears to be pleasantly surprised! Lets see if I can influence the recipient to take a pic of it in action.
Ni scarf! It does look a bit frothy =) you’re really racing through your Xmas projects. I’m only working on one, but I’m still toying with the idea of making Fetching in kids sizes for Micaela and Kelsey! Hmm. Do you have half a ball of sock yarn around that I could play with? *grin*
Oops I meant Nice, not Ni!
wow.. you’re really good at your craft, girl! hope i’ll learn how to make scarfs..
just dropping by… Merry Christmas!
